Finding people with any kind of expertise in Btrieve or Pervasive SQL is difficult. Experience is one thing we have in abundance. We have been doing this since 1993. We know all about the different versions or Btrieve and Pervasive SQL. We know the documented and undocumented issues. We can often get work done in days that others are unable to do in weeks.

We also have acess to the most advanced tools and utilities. Our own Data Manager for Btrieve and Pervasive SQL Enterprise is a see everything and do anything tool. It provides configurable export to any database or file format on the planet. And some products of ours we do not even sell and are only available through our consulting services. We have a special version of our Data Manager we use in our consulting. Some of the features that our consulting version has:

• A DDF Sniffer tool. This can analyze the structure of a Btrieve file and perform complex pattern matching against all standard Btrieve and numerous other nonstandard data types. Whats more it can search for particular values and/or ranges of data. It is a great tool for reverse engineering Btieve and pervasive SQL files to create standard data dictionary (DDF) files.
• It can export all kinds of nonstandard data types. Nonstandard date and time formats, specialized binary data, and more. If we do not have a data conversion that you need then we can easily add it in. We designed it to easily incorporate new types.
• It has an advanced ActiveX control so we can easily create custom scripts for specialized data exports.
• Handles records with huge documents stored within them.
• No matter how old or new the file. No matter what kind of data is stored within it. We can handles them and quickly get them into any file or database format on the planet.

• Database conversions. We have the best tools and knowledge anywhere to do database conversions for a Btrieve or Pervasive SQL databases. We can handle all kinds of special data types. We know how to work through all of the problems. And we can handle any version of Btrieve or Pervasive SQL data files. Our tools are very flexible. And there are a number of them we do not sell and are only available via our services.
• Rebuild, recover, merge, and split out data files. We can do just about anything you want to do with any data file.

We have a great deal of experience working with Btrieve and Pervasive SQL files from many different vendors. We have developed DDF files, special tools and tricks for working with many of them. Just a couple of examples:

• Do you need to do a DacEasy database conversion? All versions of our Data Manager for Btrieve (enterprise, standard, special builds) can directly read a DacEasy data dictionary. You do not even need a standard DDF. If you would like us to do it for you we have developed the knowledge and tools to easily do this. With our tools we can work directly with a DacEasy Data Dictionary and have standard DDF files as well. Give us your files and we can give you back a Microsoft Access version of the data in no time at all.
• Do you need to do get data out of a Maximizer database. We can pull out all of the information including contact, notes, documents, etc. We have developed DDF files and special tools for getting out the data. Give us your files and and we can give you back a Microsoft Access version of the data in no time at all. In fact we can provide you just about any format imaginable.
• Do you need to do any kind of Btrieve or Pervasive database conversion? Give us your files and we can give you back a Microsoft Access version of the data in no time at all. In fact we can provide you just about any format imaginable.
• We can work directly with Lytec Practice management files. The Data Manager we use in our consulting can open a Lytec Practice file as easily as a DDF. And it transparently handles all of complex table to file mappings.
• We have developed a DDF file and all of the special data types for the Macess Document Management system. And in fact we sell a copy of this as a product. See the Data Manager for Macess.
