Btrvgen++ is very easy to use database class
code generator for our Btrv++ class library. Using Btrvgen++ you
will easily define your Btrieve Tables, Fields, indexes and
relationships for your database. Then you can easily create a set
of C++ classes to access your database with just the push of a
button. Btrvgen++ generates classes specific to your particular
set of database files. Btrvgen++ can start a project off of an
existing data dictionary(DDF) and\or will generate a data
dictionary for you.
Btrvgen++ lets you work with a visual interface to
describe your database. It will then encode this into a set of
database classes and member functions saving you days (or even
weeks) of tedious coding.
Generate your database classes in 6 easy steps
All it takes is six easy steps to generate your database
classes with Btrvgen++. If you already have a DDF then this is
reduced to just three.
Step 1: Select the Tables from an existing DDF and go to
step 5 and/or follow steps 2 through 4 to define your tables,
columns and keys.
Step 2: Define your tables (files).
Step 3: For each table (file) define your columns
(fields).
Step 4: Define your Keys
Step 5: Define your table relationships
Step 6: Generate the database class code.
On-line help is available to assist you with every step.
